Heaven Can Wait

I had the honor of walking in The Fantasy Angels Show “Heaven Can Wait” today. This amazing production showcased the dark side with Angels that have gone astray and are running amuck. The goal of the Archangel Luka was to round up these wayward Angels and lead us back to heaven. My character was Valkyrie, who for a short time captured Luka has her pet. Here is the transcript from the show:

” What is this? Jamee appears to have captured Luka. Will his mission falter or fail? This veritable Valkyrie seems disdainful of our Angelic hero – why she has him leashed to her as if a pet. Jamee wears !dM deviousMind’s “Valkyrie” armor and it is clear she believes her purpose to be of an important and noble one. The design and embellishments indicate she has had many successes in her role as an avenger of Valhalla. Does she remember nothing of her Angelic duties? How corrupted Jamee has become to treat a fellow Angel with such contempt. She abandons him now as if she has no further use for her captive. ”

Conga Time!

I had the privilege of hosting the first Miss Virtual World 2017 runway challenge this morning. There were some amazing stylings for sure! But whenever I host, I like to challenge myself as well to style the look the candidates are showcasing as well. So today’s styling brief was as follows – ” Style an exotic formal look for a conga in the Congo”. Your aim is to create a high fashion and impressive outfit, with elegance and wow factor.

Going Nowhere

New Fashion and new art, two of my favorite things in SL. I bring you both today in this post. First up is a very fashionable gown from [AMARELO MANGA] entitled “Mel”. This beautiful Long gown comes in five color combinations including the magenta combination I have for you here. A long, sleek gown with deep-v front, belted waist and flowing long cape behind attached at the shoulders. Just beautiful. This mesh gown comes in five standard mesh sizes and is available at the mainstore now just in time to celebrate a New Year.

I’m on location at a new exhibit entitled “Stranger Things Are Happening”. This exhibit by Krystali Rabeni is where you will find things not as they seem, but instead strange and wonderful. The artist wants you to stay and explore and see that things are not quite as they seem. Use them in your own art as I have here. I’m sure you will find something to fit your mood as you explore. Fashion4Change supports the work of Womankind Worldwide, and is the charity event presented by Miss Virtual World 2015 Eleseren Brianna. Over 40 Designers have created one of a kind exclusives for this event. There is also a 10L Hunt, musical events, silent auctions for amazing one of a kind prizes and so much more. I’m presenting a look for you today that I wore in one of the fashion shows for the event combining the exclusives from Lybra! and Xen’s Hats. The gown is the “Nyala” Gown in Zebra/Red. Strapless design with black/white zebra stripes and a red sequined stripe throughout. It also has a detachable train and large flower on the bodice. It’s gorgeous! Add to that the “Roses are Red” headband from Xen’s Hats and you have one to-die-for must-have look. Find both of these at the event through this weekend.

An Easy Tempo for Spring from H.M.A.E.M

Boho style fashion with a modern flair. The two styles meld perfectly in the newest releases from H.M.A.E.M. This is the Easy Tempo outfit. It starts with these amazing pants, a linen slack with extra long length that gathers at the top of the foot in a gentle flair styling. Inspired by Oscar De La Renta

Few designers in RL have the elegance and grace that Oscar De La Renta exuded. It is a timeless elegance that many strive to obtain, and was the type of style that every celebrity wanted on the red carpet year after year. It’s no wonder that designers in Second Life strive to pay homage to the legend with their designs inspired by such a fantastic designer. Today I have for you the “Oscar Black Ruffles” gown inspired by Oscar De La Renta, and lovingly brought to life in Second Life by Sandytpr Lysette of Glam Dreams. A classic strapless bodice with gentle curves is covered with lace and has ties in the back for true corset styling and a curve hugging, feminine fit. The tiered skirt is layers of black satin and sheer overlays together in a feminine styling that is sure to flatter.
